DESCRIPTION:Beginner 2 is an introductory course that teaches the four basic skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) that uses and expands on what was learned in Italian for Beginners I. A basic understanding of Italian pronunciation and grammar is expected.\nWhat you will learn\n\nHow to communicate in a variety of social situations, such as traveling around Italy, asking and giving information\nBasic grammar structures such as past tenses of regular and irregular verbs. Increase grammar skills to build more conversation\nItalian culture, including daily life, film, cuisine, and vacationing.\n\nSyllabus\nBenvenute e Benvenuti!\nTextbook: Nuovo Espresso PLUS – The course consists of Chapters 5, 6, 7. The textbook is mandatory, the 65$ is on top of the course fee.\nSchedule\nThursday evenings, from October 8th to December 17, 2026\n6 pm – 8 pm PST\n11 weeks – Classes meet once a week in our downtown office.\nCourses\n288.5$ (+ GST) Early Bird Rate available until April 1st\n320$ (+ GST) from April 2nd\nCourse Cancellations\nPlease note that the school administration may cancel courses at any time due to low enrolment.
