Born in 2001, the Vancouver Fashion Week will welcome the participation of fashion artists from many countries, including Italy.\nThe nation that produced Armani, Versace and Valentino will be represented by NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), an education Academy focusing on arts and design.\nAlong with NABA, Italy will also present the work of two leading fashion designers: Elena Pignata www.ombradifoglia.com  and Giulia Solda’ www.maatroom.com . Straight after graduating from feller institute of design and fashion, italy in 2000, at the age of 18, she wins the fashion onward grand prix award and is invited to show her creations at tokyo’s fashion week.\nElena then becomes a requested fashion consultant for several italian major brands, among others, malloni, jaggie, la martina, cotton belt (2000-now). Giulia is keen to point out that the production process takes place entirely in Italy, from the choice of fabrics to the packaging.
