The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada West is offering a 4-week paid internship at its office in Vancouver downtown, as part of the \u201cCanada Summer Jobs\u201d program.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

The candidate needs to:<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be not older than 30 years of age at the start of employment<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be registered as a full time student during the preceding academic year<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be a student in a post-secondary school, vocational or technical program<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be legally entitled to work in BC<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Description of job and activities:<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 assist the Project Manager and ED in activities related to planning of activities and events of Fall 2018<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 assist office\u2019s daily operations (emails, phone calls)<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 assist in data management operations<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 assist in the Membership recruiting campaign<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

The hourly rate paid to the student will be $12.65<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
