From Leonardo to the Microchip

Join us for a lively multimedia performance celebrating the power of unconventional thinking as a driver of innovation at the crossroads between counterculture and hi-tech through portraits of inspiring figures, some with Italian names: from Lawrence Ferlinghetti, patriarch of the Beat Generation, to Adriano Olivetti, visionary entrepreneur from Ivrea, and Federico Faggin from Vicenza, who created the first microchip and invented the touch technology.  The event will be held on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020at the Museum of Vancouver (Joyce Walley Hall) at 7:00pm.

This event is hosted by the Dante Alighieri Society in collaboration with ARPICO and the Italian Institute of Culture in Toronto.
