Discover the story behind Italy’s world-renowned sports footwear industry through groundbreaking design, technology, and creativity. Curated by the Treviso-based SportSystem Foundation, this temporary exhibition dedicated to the evolution and legacy of Italian sports product design highlights Italy’s profound impact on the technical sports footwear industry by featuring iconic products, interviews with key figures, and video presentations from some of the most renowned brands. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s La Boîte-en-valise, the exhibition highlights the people, products, and ideas that shaped the excellence of “Made in Italy”.
Organized by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presented in Richmond the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada West (ICCCW), with the suppot of the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver, the Richmond Olympic Oval Corporation, and Fondazione Sportsystem.
