To mark the 50th anniversary of the National Congress of Italian-Canadians Italian-Canadian Heritage a special VIA Rail Canada train is embarking on a cross-Canada adventure from Vancouver, returning to the place where so many Italian immigrants began their Canadian adventure: Pier 21 in Halifax. This once in a lifetime journey kicks off in style with Un Pranzetto All’Italiana in Vancouver on June 10, 2024.
Come savour the festivities as we send off ‘The Italian Journey Across Canada.’ Meet dignitaries, community members, and immerse yourself in the rich heritage that binds our nations.
