Paid Membership Opportunity

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada West is offering a 4-week paid internship at its office in Vancouver downtown, as part of the “Canada Summer Jobs” program.

The candidate needs to:

–              be not older than 30 years of age at the start of employment

–              be registered as a full time student during the preceding academic year

–              intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year

–              be a student in a post-secondary school, vocational or technical program

–              be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred

–              be legally entitled to work in BC

Description of job and activities:

–              assist the Project Manager and ED in activities related to planning of activities and events of Fall 2018

–              assist office’s daily operations (emails, phone calls)

–              assist in data management operations

–              assist in the Membership recruiting campaign

The hourly rate paid to the student will be $12.65
