Taking place from November 20th to December 4th, the initiative is designed for Pizzerias and Restaurants in the Greater Vancouver Area and in Calgary.
During those two weeks, participating Pizzerias and Restaurants are invited to develop and promote a special two-week menu featuring Italian DOP & IGP products.

If you are a Pizzeria or a Restaurant:
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada-West will sponsor the purchase of DOP & IGP products to Pizzerias and Restaurants that are ICCBC members, and promote initiatives and events of all participating businesses.
If you are a Food importer / Distributor / Vendor:
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada-West will refer your business to all participating Pizzerias and Restaurants for the purchase of products and promote your business through all Chamber’s channels.
By November 11th
Requirements to Apply:
–    Maximum $300 products (DOP & IGP products) purchase value.
–    Limited number of sponsorships available; priority for this special promotion will be given to Pizzerias.
–   Communication guidelines for the promotion of the menu and use of project logos must be followed.
–   Need to apply for ICCBC membership by November 11th, 2017.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce meets the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne Minister of International Trade of Canada

The Italian Chamber of Commerce has met today the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne Minister of International Trade of Canada during visit to Vancouver, at the lunch organized by BC Chamber of Commerce at Vancouver Club.

During his speech, the Ministry reminded all guests of the upcoming historical date of September 21st as the coming into effect of CETA and the opening of Canada to a market of 500mln European consumers.

IVEY AND BAW ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY : Canadian and Italian Expertise Together for a Better Future!

Ivey International Inc. (IVEY) of Canada, and BAW Environmental Engineering S.r.l. (BAW) of Italy are officially signing their National Technology Representation Agreement at the Embassy of Canada in Rome, on Thursday, March 30, 2017.

IVEY is an International Award Winning Canadian based environmental technology company located in greater Vancouver, Canada, specializing in the development and application of innovative air, soil, and groundwater remediation products.

BAW S.r.l. is an environmental design and consulting company based in Saluzzo, CN which focuses on integrating the best remediation technologies available on the market today to create highly advanced technical solutions for environmental problems.

This agreement marks IVEY’s official making of BAW as their National Technology Representative within the Italian soil and groundwater environmental remediation market for the National GLOBE Award Winner, North American Frost & Sullivan Award Winning, & Patented Ivey-sol® Surfactant Remediation Technology.

This exciting collaboration positively contributes to the economic growth and technical developments in the Italian environmental market as Italy experiences a renewed focus on cleaning up contaminated sites at European Union Standards.

The IVEY-BAW signing is being hosted by the Canadian Embassy in Rome. The agreement was made possible with the support of CanExport, a Government of Canada program assisting Canadian businesses seeking to develop new export opportunities and markets.

The First World “Italian Design Day” in Vancouver… a great outcome!

March 1st, 2017 marked the First World Italian Design Day, a celebration promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

To celebrate this event, the Consul General of Italy, Massimiliano Iacchini, together with the Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Ron Burnett, and the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, Celso Boscariol, presented the

“Italian Design Day in The World”

with the special participation of Alessandro Colombo.

ITALIAN DESIGN IN VANCOUVER – Call for designers and retail stores

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada-West, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver, is pleased to present an initiative: “Italian Design in Vancouver”.

The initiative has been developed on the occasion of the 16th edition of “The Italian Language Week in the World” (October 16th-23rd, 2016) in order to put an emphasis on Italian design in Vancouver and to give greater visibility and recognition to those businesses operating in the metro Vancouver area which promote Italian design

The main output of the project is the creation of an online platform – a dedicated website – that will host an interactive map of the Italian design in Vancouver. The map will highlight all participating retail, wholesale and other professional establishments in the Metro Vancouver area that sell and/or promote Italian design brands. They will be proclaimed by the Consul General of Italy the “Italian Design Ambassadors in Vancouver” and will receive a stylish dedicated storefront banner or plaque.

The activities and products of every participating business establishment will be described on the dedicated website and on all project related promotional materials (such as brochures, posters, flyers, etc.) as well as advertised by our local media partners and through both, Italian Consulate’s and Italian Chamber’s websites and social media outlets.
